.LOFT STYLE HOUSE IN JURMALA
INTERIOR DESIGN INSPIERED BY LATVIAN FORESTS

.ABOUT THE PROJECT

Located among the pine forests of Jūrmala, this residential interior was designed to create a natural transition between the surrounding landscape and the living space. The concept is based on a balanced combination of concrete and natural wood — a material palette preferred by the clients for its simplicity, warmth, and timeless character.
The contrast between concrete and wood shapes the identity of the interior. Concrete brings clarity, structure, and a contemporary architectural feel, while natural wood adds texture, warmth, and a sense of comfort. Together, these materials create a calm and harmonious environment suited to modern living.

The open-plan layout combines the living and dining areas into a cohesive space designed for everyday life, relaxation, and gathering. Carefully considered lighting, custom details, and a restrained material palette contribute to a warm and welcoming atmosphere while maintaining a clean contemporary aesthetic.
