INTERIOR DESIGN INSPIERED BY LATVIAN NATURE
.ABOUT THE PROJECT
This interior was designed around a palette of natural materials, warm wood finishes, textured surfaces, and earthy tones to create a calm, welcoming atmosphere. Inspired by the surrounding pine forest of Jūrmala, the design blurs the boundary between indoors and outdoors, allowing nature to become part of the everyday living experience.
The floor-to-ceiling wooden panel discreetly conceals the entrance to the walk-in wardrobe, creating a seamless architectural composition and enhancing the clean, minimalist aesthetic.

The bed by Ouin Furniture plays a central role in the composition, bringing a strong sense of stability, comfort, and grounding to the space. Its sculptural form is inspired by natural stone, echoing the project's connection to nature and organic shapes. Soft, rounded contours create a feeling of calmness and permanence, making the bed not only a functional element but also a defining feature of the interior.
One of the focal points of the interior is the cozy reading corner featuring the iconic Ligne Roset armchair. Designed as a quiet retreat for reading, relaxation, and enjoying the changing natural scenery throughout the seasons.
Special attention was given to lighting design, with multiple lighting scenarios developed to support different activities and moods throughout the day. This allows residents to easily switch between functional lighting for everyday tasks and softer ambient lighting for relaxation, enhancing both comfort and the overall living experience.
